  • Ph.D. in Physics, University of Nottingham, Nottingham, Uk. 2005

Research Interests

My preivous research relates to theortical model of electron-vibrational (vibronic) coupling in what is known as the Jahn-Teller effect in positively doble charged fullerene molecule C60++. My recent research relates to Atomistic computational modeling of perovskites namely BiMnO3, using density functional theory (DFT) to investigate fundamental chemical and physical properties of thin film for possible Photovoltaic application.

Personal Interests

I like spending time with my family doing different activities such as traveling, swimming, watching moves. Also I like reading and swimming.

Current Research

Photovoltaics

In the present work, we will expand am investigating for BiMnO3 (BMO) oxide heterostructures thin film for efficient solar cells using different using Density Functional Theory (DFT) and Quantum espresso package to study structures with different numbers of BMO layers epitaxially grown on a SrTiO3 (STO) substrate.
